Before you start using tBook Builder, ensure you have the following:
A strong internet connection. We recommend using a wired connection
because tBook Builder does not save your session data for more than
60 minutes of inactivity, meaning you may lose your work if your connection drops
for any length of time.
While most browsers are supported, we recommend using the latest
version of Edge, Firefox, Brave, Chrome, Vivaldi. Of these browsers, Vivaldi and Edge
seem to work the best, supporting the tBook Builder and the tBook Viewer.
The editor performs most formatting, but you may encounter
circumstances that require use of HTML and CSS. Having some knowledge is
helpful or at least a willingness to learn.
An edited and complete manuscript. Although you can write in tBuilder,
it was designed as more of a formatting tool. If you decide to use it
in this manner, be sure your browser has a good autocorrect feature.
If you are working with video or audio content, try to keep your media
files as small as possible for optimal performance. tBook Builder does not edit
video or audio files, so you will need to use separate software for
that.
If you are working with images try to keep them under 1MB for optimal
performance. There is no editor in tBuilder for images, so you will
need to edit them before uploading.
The best way to learn about the tBook Builder is to dive in and start
experimenting. Don't be afraid to try new things and explore the various
features available to you.
You can always start over by making a new file!😃 If
